Justification
A widespread species (EOO > 40 000 km²) that occurs throughout the Karoo from Loeriesfontein to Prince Albert. There are more than 30 recorded subpopulations and it is not threatened.

Range
Loeriesfontein in the north, southwards along the Roggeveld past Sutherland to near Fraserburg. It is also present in the Ceres Karoo, Little Karoo and Great Karoo.
