Threats |
The area where this species was last recorded has been extensively transformed as a result of the expansion of commercial agriculture. It is likely that the population at the type locality has been lost to ploughing. |
Population |
This species is only known from the type collection, dating from 1956. The locality is well-documented. Several attempts to relocate this species at the type locality and surrounding areas have been futile (Hahn 2013). It is possibly extinct due to habitat loss.
