Notes
According to Brown (1909), Brachystelma micranthum is a poorly known species based on two Drège specimens, both from Queenstown, collected before 1838. The type specimen unfortunately had already been badly damaged by insects when Brown examined the specimen, and matching of living plants to the type is difficult.
