Justification
A rare, range-restricted (EOO 671 km²) habitat specialist known from only four collections. Although there are only three known locations, this diminutive plant is easily overlooked and much of its range is a poorly explored wilderness area, it is therefore estimated that there are between five and 10 locations. It is threatened by mining in Mpumalanga and alien plant invasion in Limpopo.
