Justification
Originally only thought to occur at Smitswinkel Bay on the Cape Peninsula, where it went extinct due to dense infestations of alien plants and expansion of houses. Recently, a small subpopulation (fewer than 50 mature individuals) was discovered near Bredasdorp.
