Justification | Huernia blyderiverensis is a range-restricted habitat specialist, with an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 193 km². It is endemic to Poung Dolomite Mountain Bushveld, and is locally very abundant. It occurs in rocky sites where it is not threatened. It is therefore listed under the IUCN 3.1 Criteria, globally, as Least Concern but is nationally categorised as Rare. |
