Justification
A rare, but probably overlooked species known from two locations in South Africa where it is potentially threatened by habitat degradation as a result of overgrazing.

Description
Climber inside shrubs in arid shrublands.
Threats
Potentially threatened by habitat degradation as a result of heavy overgrazing around Steinkopf.
Population

A poorly known and inconspicuous species that is highly likely to be overlooked. Known from only three collections in South Africa and two from Namibia. There is a significant disjunction between the South African and Namibian populations.
