Justification
EOO 20 000 km², known from five herbarium collections, but is likely to be under-collected. It occurs as individual plants, sparsely distributed within its range. It is unlikely to be threatened as there are only low levels of urban expansion and agricultural transformation in this part of the Eastern Cape.
