Threats |
This species is rare and poorly known, but as grasslands within the area where it was last recorded are still largely intact, it is not suspected to have any threats. |
Population |
This species is known only from the type collection, dating from 1897. Nicholas (1999) suggests that it may be extinct. Grasslands within the area where it was last recorded is however still intact, and the lack of records may be better explained by a lack of survey efforts. Field surveys are needed to relocate this species in the wild.
