Justification | Lessertia inflata is a widespread species occurring throughout the Upper Karoo and on the Bokkeveld Escarpment. It has an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 150 000 km². This species is likely to be under pressure from livestock grazing in many parts of its range, however it is sufficiently widespread and occurs both at low and high altitudes to ensure that many unimpacted subpopulations remain. It is therefore listed as Least Concern. |
