Threats |
Hoodia grandis is possibly threatened by harvesting as a result of confusion with Hoodia gordonii, however, Hoodia harvesting is decreasing and harvesting is unlikely to cause widespread decline. |
Population |
It occurs as widely scattered subpopulations. The population is not suspected to be declining, but requires monitoring to determine the impact of harvesting.
