Free State and KwaZulu-Natal Drakensberg between Harrismith and Ramatsiliso's Pass, and also known from a few sporadic records from the Mpumalanga Drakensberg Escarpment and Wakkerstroom.

Description
Sandy soils in dry mountain grassland, 1500-2100 m.
