Justification
Known from an early collection near Roossenekal by Young in 1933 and two collections made by Acocks in 1959. One of the latter sites has been lost to urban expansion and the other is severely threatened by habitat degradation due to overgrazing. Not enough is known about the current population status of this species to determine its threat status.
