Description
High altitude montane grassland.
Threats
This species is restricted to high altitude Lydenburg Montane Grassland, which is already 30% transformed within the known range of this species, predominantly for timber plantations. Although timber plantations are no longer expanding, remaining habitat is threatened by mining (there is already a mining application at one of the four known locations), and many sites are invaded by alien plants.
