Threats
This species' habitat is protected and it has no known threats. It is possibly sensitive to overly-hot fires as two known subpopulations failed to flower after a fire in 2009 (Oliver et al. 2009).
Population

Although very a very localized species restricted to a specialized habitat, it is abundant within suitable habitat. The number of subpopulations and the total size of the population is difficult to estimate as this species flowers only after fires.

Population trend
Stable
Notes
This species flowers only in the first year after fires (Oliver et al. 2011).
