Justification
EOO 9863 km², known from seven to nine locations. Declining due to alien plant invasion, crop cultivation and harvesting for horticultural purposes.

Description
Moist flats and slopes in coarse, often stony, sandstone-derived soils, 100-800 m.
Threats
Invasive Acacias have caused past declines on Steenberg and are ongoing threats around Mamre/Riverlands. Agriculture has probably caused declines in Agter-Witsenberg and Koue Bokkeveld areas. Over collecting has probably caused the loss of one subpopulation.
