Range
Widespread across the high-lying areas of eastern South Africa and Lesotho, from the escarpment north-east of Pilgrim's Rest southwards to Knysna, and extending to coastal areas in southern KwaZulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape. It also occurs in Malawi.
