Justification
Crop cultivation has caused extensive habitat loss for this slow-growing resprouter, resulting in the local extinction of 60% of known subpopulations over the past 100 years (generation length >50 years). EOO 2389 km², seven small, severely fragmented subpopulations continue to decline due to alien plant invasion and ongoing agricultural expansion.
