Justification
Heliophila remotiflora is a widespread species, with an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 199 934 km², but is known from only a few scattered collections. It is suspected to be overlooked, as its distribution range is botanically poorly explored, and not rare or threatened. It is therefore listed as Least Concern.
