Most common in the mountains between Paarl, Franschhoek and Stellenbosch, including the Hottentots Holland Mountains. There is one disjunct record from Strawberry Hill in the Langeberg Mountains, and a record from the Swartberg Mountains near Ladismith needs confirmation.
