Description
Plants grow on sandstone slopes or on shale bands.
Threats
Scattered alien invasive Hakeas are present within the species' habitat (N.A. Helme pers. obs. 2008) and is likely to outcompete native plant species if left unmanaged.
Population

This species is localized to a shale band on the upper northern slopes of the Langeberg. The population is large, consisting of at least 1000 mature individuals (N.A. Helme pers. obs. 2008).
