Justification
Euryops proteoides is a range-restricted species with an extent of occurrence (EOO) of only 42 km². It is however locally abundant and has no severe threats, and is therefore not suspected to be in danger of extinction.

It occurs on moist, south-facing escarpment slopes and below cliff-lines and along drainage lines, 1200-2000 m.
Threats
Euryops proteoides has no severe threats.
