Euryops exudans is a range-restricted species with an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 1119 km². It is locally common and not threatened and is therefore listed as Least Concern.

It grows in Karoo Escarpment Grassland.
Threats
Euryops exudans has no severe threats.
Population

This species is locally abundant in montane grasslands above 1600 m, and is tolerant of disturbance, occurring on vehicle tracks and heavily grazed fields. Therefore the population is not suspected to be declining.
