Description
Coastal limestone fynbos.
Threats
Threatened by competition from unmanaged, spreading alien invasive plants across its range, as well as overgrazing - this is a highly palatable species that is likely to be negatively impacted by heavy grazing (J.H. Vlok pers. comm.).
Population

A localized, and very rarely recorded species known from very few records. It is a striking species and unlikely to be overlooked (J.H. Vlok pers. comm.).
