Justification
Euryops namibensis has a limited distribution in South Africa (EOO 247 km²), where it is known from four locations and declining due to overgrazing. As the South African population is continuous with the stable Namibian population, the national status is downgraded by one category following IUCN regional assessment procedures.

Description
Stony and rocky slopes.
Threats
This species is threatened by severe overgrazing across most of its range in the Richtersveld in South Africa. In the areas where it occurs, overgrazing has significantly reduced shrub cover, and it may have already disappeared from some of these areas. It is not threatened in Namibia.
Population

This species has a limited distribution range in South Africa and Namibia. It is declining in South Africa, but the Namibian population is stable. The population is continuous across the border between South Africa and Namibia.
