Threats
Potentially threatened by habitat loss to expanding vineyards in the Breede River Valley.
Population

A poorly known and rarely collected species with an unusually disjunct distribution. The type material was collected from the Bredasdorp Mountains southwest of Napier, but most subsequent records are from the Breede River Valley. Recently, the species was also found in the coastal mountains near Gansbaai.
