Justification
Known from three locations (EOO 200 km²). There is a continuing loss of habitat at two of the locations due to ploughing for protea orchards and berry cultivation.

Description
Restioid fynbos on flat, quartzitic sands.
Threats
This species is threatened outside of protected areas due to agricultural expansion. There is a good chance that the species will become extinct outside of the reserve. The past decline could be as much as 30%, but there is not enough data to support this.
