Justification
Although widespread in Swaziland, Senecio neoviscidulus is known from a single record in South Africa, collected in 1969 from an area now densely populated with most of the natural vegetation degraded or transformed to crop fields. The status of the population in South Africa is unknown and surveys are required to determine if any plants survive.
