Justification | A range-restricted species (EOO 1 338 km²) occurring in deep sands, severely threatened by potato and rooibos tea cultivation. Sixty percent of its habitat has been lost over the past 40 years (generation length estimated 15-20 years). Between six and eight subpopulations remain, and this species continues to decline. |
