Threats |
Osteospermum pyrifolium occurs on nutrient poor, sandy soils which are not ideally suited to agriculture, however, crop fields do occasionally expand onto lower sandy slopes. Competition from alien invasive plants spreading into the habitat is also a potential threat. |
