Assessor(s)
D. Raimondo & R.C. Turner
Justification
Although fairly widespread (EOO 11900 km²) and locally common where occurring around pans, its habitat is threatened throughout its range by alien species (that cause desiccation of pans), livestock trampling, and crop cultivation. It is known from fewer than 15 locations.
