Description
Quartzite ridges and mountain slopes.
Threats
Threatened in parts of the Richtersveld by habitat degradation and trampling due to overstocking of livestock. Chrysocoma species, commonly known as Bitterbush, are not generally palatable, and resilient to disturbance.
