Justification | Helichrysum haygarthii is known from two collections from the Drakensberg foothills. It has an extent of occurrence (EOO) of less than 100 km², and occurs on high altitude cliffs that are inaccessible to livestock. It is therefore listed under the IUCN 3.1 Criteria, globally, as Least Concern but is nationally categorised as Rare. |
