Range
Mpumalanga and Limpopo Drakensberg escarpment, from the Wolkberg to Barberton, where it also occurs in adjacent montane areas in Swaziland. It extends southwards along the KwaZulu-Natal Drakensberg foothills and Midlands to near Kokstad on the border with the Eastern Cape.
