Justification
Occurs in a narrow coastal band on the west coast (EOO 14 000 km²), suspected to occur at 15-20 locations. It is currently declining due to severe, ongoing habitat loss to potato cultivation and coastal housing developments. In addition, there is a continuing decline in the northern parts of its range due to livestock grazing.
