Justification
A range-restricted (EOO 2125 km²) but locally very common limestone endemic. Although it is threatened in some areas by coastal development, alien plant invasion and habitat loss to crop cultivation, it is estimated that more than 30 locations still remain, and many subpopulations are protected within De Hoop Nature Reserve.

Coastal limestone fynbos.
Threats
