Description
Deep sandy soils in depressions between stabilised dunes no more than 2.5 km from the coast.
Threats
The main threat to this species is ongoing habitat loss to coastal development, as well as competition from unmanaged alien invasive plants. Increasing fragmentation of its habitat also leads to exclusion of fire: this species is a reseeder that needs fire to regenerate.
