Justification
EOO 19 km², between two and five remaining locations continue to decline due to ongoing habitat loss and degradation as a result of alien plant invasion, and protea and other crop cultivation.

Description
Deep, sandy soil with little humus, associated with limestone, 45-61 m.
Threats
This highly range-restricted species is threatened by competition from alien invasive plants over most of its range. On the western edge, plants are threatened by ongoing habitat loss to crop cultivation, as well as expanding protea cultivation for the cut flower industry, and overgrazing.
