Justification
Agathosma geniculata is a range-restricted, but still fairly common species, with an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 4182 km². It has an estimated number of locations of 15-20. It continues to decline due to competition from alien invasive plants, and is listed as Near Threatened.

Description
It occurs in limestone outcrops near the coast.
Threats
Agathosma geniculata has lost habitat to coastal development in the past, and loss continues. In addition, it is threatened across most of its range by competition from dense infestations of unmanaged alien invasive plants.
