Summits of rocky ridges in mountains.
Threats
Some of this species' habitat was lost to forestry plantations in the past, and additional habitat loss is a potential threat. Forestry is declining in the Western Cape and ongoing habitat loss is therefore unlikely. Elsewhere competition from alien invasive plants is also a potential threat.
