Description
Marshy ground in peaty soil, among restios.
Threats
Too frequent fires and alien invasive plants are severe potential threats for this species which regenerates only from seed. The Kogelberg area has had at least three fires in the past 15 years.
Population

Subpopulation sizes are unknown but numbers are probably low as records indicate it as being occasional and rare.
