Justification
A lowland species that has lost over 30% of its habitat in the past, but is probably not declining much now. Although relatively restricted in its range and found on soils that are threatened by farming, it appears able to survive in disturbed situations including road verges and hence is not listed as threatened.

Threats
Agriculture (severe); aliens (moderate to severe); urban expansion (low to moderate) (N. Helme 2006) however this species is able to survive in disturbed areas and occurs on road verges and old fields ( Whitehouse 2006).
