Justification
EOO 50 km², AOO <50km², known from four locations. A subpopulation at one location was lost to road widening, two are threatened by coastal development and alien plant invasion and the last subpopulation is protected within the private nature reserve at Grootbos.

Description
Fynbos on brown, sandy soil on slight slopes, 50-250 m.
Threats
Out of four known subpopulations, only one is protected. One subpopulation was partially destroyed by road construction, a second near Danger Point is threatened by development and a third occurs at a site heavily infested by alien invasive Acacia cyclops.
