Justification
Although this is a recently discovered species, a past population reduction of at least 80% is suspected based on >95% habitat loss to crop cultivation and urban expansion in the past 100 years (generation length >50 years). EOO 20 km², AOO <5 km², three isolated, severely fragmented remaining subpopulations is expected to continue to decline due to infrastructure development and alien plant invasion. 10% of one subpopulation is to be lost to the development of a polo field.
