Justification
EOO 411 km², AOO <20 km², five known locations are declining due to alien plant invasion and urban and coastal development. Its wetland habitat it is also potentially sensitive to degradation from groundwater extraction.

Description
Restricted to marshy areas below 130 m.
Threats
Urban development has led to the extinction of subpopulations from the Cape Peninsula. It remains a threat to subpopulations occurring in Kleinmond. Alien plants are a severe threat to all locations. As this is a species restricted to marshy areas, ground water extraction is likely to have an impact on remaining subpopulations.
