Description
Streamsides in mountain fynbos.
Threats
Possibly threatened by competition from alien invasive plants in some areas, but where this species has been seen there are no alien plants present.
Population

A widespread but very rarely recorded species, known from only six records. It is a short-lived fire stimulated species occurring in an inaccessible, specialized habitat, which may account for the lack of records.
