Provincial distribution | Western Cape |
Range | Bredasdorp to Stilbaai. |
Habitat and Ecology |
Major system | Terrestrial |

Threats |
Threatened by ongoing habitat loss and degradation as a result of spreading, unmanaged alien invasive plants, and expanding crop cultivation. Near Stilbaai, a small subpopulation is threatened by destructive vegetation management practises for thatch harvesting, as well as competition from alien invasive plants and too infrequent fire. |
Population |
A poorly known species, with only six collections to date. Apparently very rare, but may also be overlooked as Indigofera species are difficult to identify. A recent record from Stilbaai has significantly extended the known range.
