Population

Indigofera commixta is a poorly known, and apparently rare and localized species. There are only four known collections, and this species was last collected in 1974. It may possibly be overlooked, and confused with other species as the South African species of Indigofera is in need of taxonomic revision. The status and trends of the population is not known.
