Higher Classification | Dicotyledons |
Family | AMARANTHACEAE |
National Status |
Status and Criteria | Least Concern |

Justification | Salsola aellenii is a widespread but poorly known species, with an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 305 998 km². It occurs in a botanically poorly explored area, and may be more common than records suggest. It is not suspected to be in danger of extinction, but field surveys are needed to gain a better understanding of the population's response to habitat disturbance. It is therefore listed as Least Concern. |
