Description
Lowland shale and stony flats. One record is possibly from high-altitude sandstone fynbos.
Threats
Threatened by habitat loss to crop cultivation, urban expansion and competition from alien invasive plants - this species' extent of occurrence is already more than 65% transformed.
Population

A poorly known and very rarely recorded species, known from a few isolated localities within a small area in the eastern Overberg.
